Youth Director
Hello, my name is Jesus Segovia and I am the Youth Director for Crossbar’s summer camps & afterschool program. I have been working in childcare for 15 years teaching Pre-K and teaching Spanish. 5 years ago, I started my own independent soccer club; Angels FC and we’re still growing strong. This will be my 11th summer working a summer camp but my first time running it outside of a school independently.
I have been married to my wife Charlie for almost 10 years and we have 1 daughter. Some of my hobbies include traveling, playing & watching soccer, reading, and going to the movies. Looking forward to another great year!

My name is Katie Bertrand! I’m 21 years old and currently play collegiate soccer at the NCAA Division II level for Fairmont State University. I grew up competing at the highest levels of youth soccer, playing for both Solar ECNL and ECRL. As for my childcare background, I’ve been babysitting and reffing kids’ soccer games since I was 13 with two years of official professional experience. A few of my hobbies include baking, working out, going to concerts (especially Harry Styles!), playing sodoku, and going to the movies. I’m super excited for this summer with the kids!

Join the Crossbar youth league with Coach Jesus, accepting ages 5-9! Season starts September 8th and includes fall and winter leagues, practice once per week during fall season only, jersey, and coach dues. Early registration price until July 15th.
9 week season. 5v5 (ages 5-10) and 7v7 (ages 11-14)
Includes jersey, practices, coach.
Games Saturdays and Sundays.
All skill levels welcome.
After School Program
Crossbar’s after school program is available to kids aged 5 years to 12 years. Each week kids will be picked up or dropped off from local schools with the hours being 3-6pm. Special one week and full day camps when schools are on holiday. Please contact Jesus to ask about which schools we will be able to pickup from and which schools can drop kids off at our location.

Crossbar Kickstart Program
We bring the game to you! Crossbar is teaming up with several schools in the Denton/Argyle region to introduce the beautiful game at an early age. Sessions are once a week at the school for 30 minutes teaching them not only the basics of soccer but also important skills & development off the field.

Vedral Soccer Academy

Vedral Soccer Academy is not affiliated with any club. Instead, we are a set of coaches that look to focus on skills, sessions, and camps to push players to the next level. Our skills clinics and camps focus on the individual. We want to emphasize technique and the overall understanding of each skill set, so that players are comfortable with the ball in every game situation. Each skill is demonstrated by the coach. The player is then pushed to mimic the skill in a game-like scenario. We strive to make each player leave better than when they arrived, and eager to go home to practice what they learned.
